I was told that lumber should arrive this weekend. To make the place safer and easier to work, much cleaning up and soil leveling had to take place.

Removal of the Slab Forms
Not much to report other than I drove by today and noticed that the forms used for the slab have been removed and waiting to be hauled away.

Now we wait for the slab to cure
We had a big rain today and more is expected the rest of the week. I stopped by the lot this afternoon to get a decent photo of the finished slab without the crew present.

A Slab at Last
I left early this morning to go over to our lot. It's a good thing that I did. We wanted to have gold $1 coins placed in the foundation of the 4 corners of the house.
When I arrived, I saw a large crew, cement vehicles, etc... I gave one of the workers the gold coins to place for us, before I rushed off to work.
At lunch time I drove to the house to pick up the family to bring them to the lot to check on progress. This is what we saw.

[UPDATE] ON APRIL 29, 2015 my neighbor sent this photo that he took while the slab was being poured.

Polyethylene Vapor/Moisture Barrier Part 2 (Finish)
I was out twice today. At lunch, more sand was added to the pads and retrenching continued.
The second time out was this afternoon. They just finished putting the polyethylene down. When we were leaving, they were just starting to lay out the post tension cables.

Retrenching and Fresh Sand
Nearly a month since the ground was trenched, the crew showed up today to dig out the soil that had fallen back in. Additionally they have been adding fresh sand on top of the squared off section as you can see in the photos. Additionally, I noticed these little wires running the length of the foundation that I can only guess are guides for something.
