Drywall - Day #1

The builder has finally admitted that they will never make the mid August deadline. There is just too much to do because of all of the delays. Now they are saying 3rd week of September.

Lunch photos: I didn't know what was up with all of the insulation that showed up just before lunch. It wasn't there this morning. I later realized this insulation would be used in the ceiling.

Bricking - Day #6 and Exterior Wall Insulation

Insulation began today. This was for the exterior walls and garage. Man, let me tell ya, that stuff stinks.

As for bricking, the guy said he should finish tomorrow morning. The GC told me that they will leave two straps of bricks for us in the garage and whatever else is left over. A strap of bricks is 126 bricks (11x12)-(3x2)=126 see photo below.

In the center are two straps of bricks. As you can see, they are stacked 11x12 minus 2 slots of 3 for a fork lift or pallet jack equalling 126 bricks per strap.
