Another Electrical/Drywall Error - Walls Textured

I discovered another error where the drywall is covering up an electrical terminal. This time a light switch inside the kitchen pantry.

The photos below show where the switch is located (outlined in red), the green lines are just guides for a point of reference.


Below is a reverse angle.

On the bright side, the walls got textured today.

Drywall - Day #2

I took some photo this morning of yesterday's work.























At lunch there was a two man crew smoothing over things. Tap embedding, puddy, stilts and applying rounded corners. Here are a couple of photos and a walkthrough video.

Drywall - Day #1

The builder has finally admitted that they will never make the mid August deadline. There is just too much to do because of all of the delays. Now they are saying 3rd week of September.

Lunch photos: I didn't know what was up with all of the insulation that showed up just before lunch. It wasn't there this morning. I later realized this insulation would be used in the ceiling.
